John Kyriakopoulos, senior currency strategist at National Australia Bank Ltd. (NAB), has resigned from his post, a bank spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Well known in the currency markets, Kyriakopoulos has elected to take a career break from the position he has held for many years, the spokeswoman said.
The NAB foreign exchange team was recently bolstered by the arrival of Emma Lawson from Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong.
Kyriakopoulos' move follows the departure of a string of high-profile Australian dollar strategists. ANZ Bank's currency strategist Grant Turley and TD Securities Singapore-based FX strategist Roland Randall both left their respective roles in late 2011.>>>
