The Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) has announced the third annual International Business & Finance Summit (IBFS) will take place February 3-5, 2012 at the Abaco Beach Resort at Boat Harbour in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, The Bahamas

Under the theme Pursuing Comparative Advantage, IBFS 2012, like its predecessors events, will bring together thought-leaders in wealth and asset management to discuss industry trends and requirements, and their impact on international financial centres and industry professionals.

More than 140 senior financial executives from the region and growth economies from around the world joined government representatives for IBFS 2011 which was held in Freeport, Grand Bahama. During the three day session they discussed growth strategies while networking in an idyllic Bahamas setting.

Summit sessions will focus on how individuals, institutions and jurisdictions must deal with their core requirements to achieve success and to exploit their comparative strengths.

Sessions will cover:
• Broad trends and insights on holistic planning;
• Practical insights on holistic planning for the LatAm, Chinese and Middle East markets;
• Quantifying the rewards & risk of the US market;
• Becoming an ally of your clients through philanthropy;
• Developments in asset management;
• On the Horizon: Understanding the future of wealth;
